Website privacy
Effective date: 6 October 2026
This page covers the website rimfire.indieappstudios.com, run by Indie App Studios ("we"). The game has its own policy.
Visiting the site
- The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- It has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- It loads nothing from other companies: no fonts, videos, maps or social buttons.
Like every website, ours is kept on a hosting company's computers (Hostinger), and those computers keep standard technical logs of requests, including the network address a request came from, for security and fault-finding. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
The tester sign-up form
The form on the Join the test page is for adults aged 18 or over. If you choose to fill it in, we receive:
- the email address you type (your Google account address);
- your first name, if you give one;
- the date and time you sent it.
Why: to add you to the closed test of RIMFIRE in Google Play, and to write to you about that test. You asked us to; that is our reason for holding it.
Where it goes: it is emailed to us and kept in a list on our hosting account. To add you to the test we enter your email address in Google Play Console, which is how Google lets you install a test version. We do not give it to anyone else, and we never sell it.
How long: until the test is over, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Your choices: write to techemayo@indieappstudios.com at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also leave the test yourself from its page in Google Play.
Children
This website is written for parents and other adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us an email address through the form, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If the site starts to do anything not described here, this page will change first, and so will the date at the top.
